Adopt a Day of Disaster Relief or Transportation
Disaster - The costs of providing emergency services to our residents average $3,410 every week. This includes providing temporary shelter, assistance with permanent housing, replacement medical items, food, clothing, mental health services, canteen service to rescue workers and a host of other services. The NH West Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering a way for local businesses and foundations to help provide these crucial services to residents in our community.
You or your company can "adopt" a day of disaster relief by giving a donation of $452.29 to the Red Cross of Southwestern New Hampshire. Many companies ask employees to give at company picnics or other annual events and then match employee contributions to adopt one or more days.
Transportation - The costs of providing Transportation services to our residents average $1,453 every week. This includes rides to people of all ages. Medical, dental, therapeutic, violence protection and eldercare programs request assistance for their clients.
You or your company can "adopt" a day of Transportation services by giving a donation of $290.69 to the Red Cross of Southwestern New Hampshire.
In recognition of your generosity, the NH West Chapter of the American Red Cross will recognize your company in our Annual Report and on our Adopt-a-Day home web page with a hyper-link to your home web page.
